Pros: I knew there is nothing wrong with the device since it worked fine with my Nexus. I decided to investigate and found a solution for the awful quality with my Macbook. See cons.
Cons: There is something up with the quality settings OSX defaults to. This fixed it for me. Open Terminal from Application/Utilities. Paste this in minus the quotes and hit enter.
"defaults write com.apple.BluetoothAudioAgent Apple\ Bitpool\ Min\ \(editable\) 45"
Restart your computer. The higher the number the better the quality it seems but if you go too high it stops working all together. I found 50 worked best for me. Your mileage may vary.
Pros: I've read some mixed reviews and now I'm seeing why. How well it works depends heavily on what device you use with it.
With my Galaxy Nexus it sounds absolutely fantastic. You have to really turn it up to hear any difference from having it hard wired. The range is wonderful. I can stream music to it from completely on the other side of the house!
With my old Gen 3 iPod touch the result were the complete opposite. It sounded really bad and overly compressed playing the same audio files. The range was also awful. I can't get out of the room before it cuts off.
Thankfully I rarely use the iPod anymore and I bought it for use with my Nexus so I'm a happy camper.
Cons: As stated in the pros, your results will vary with every device.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Great board other than the Network ports.
Cons: There are two issue with the Ethernet ports on this board:
1) Make sure you only use the driver from the included cd. The one windows installs causes it not to work. This includes the one in updates.
2) One or port ports occasionally disappears from the device manager in Windows and also in Linux. This is not a software issue. There is something up either in the firmware or hardware level. Unplugging the power from the PSU for a few minutes brings them back.
I'm hoping this info helps someone having problems.
