Pros: Works. Really, really well. Before, my overclocked (3.9ghz, w slight increase in voltage) AMD 6 core 1055t was running at 54c idle on stock cooling. Now it's running 32-34c idle. No more than 45c under load. I have not prime95ed it yet. But that's just me being lazy. Stellar performance if you ask me. This was the first time I have had to install an aftermarket cooler, and I had ZERO trouble. Total cakewalk. I have had more trouble installing stock AMD coolers than I did with this one. Everything fit perfectly, and works exactly as advertised. Just make sure you follow the instructions, and you'll be fine. Make no mistake, this really is a highly functional, efficient cooler, with phenomenal build quality and materials. The supplied thermal paste clearly works very well.
Cons: Large heatsink. But had no trouble with it touching any other components. So, no eggs removed. Just do your research and make sure it's going to fit for you.
Other Thoughts: Fits in an antec 300 case with 2-3 centimeters to spare. On an ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3 Motherboard, Just BARELY clears my G.SKILL Ripjaws Series ram with the fan facing the rear of the case. The ram has heatsinks on it, so non heatsinked ram would have been clear by a lot more. It clears it by like a millimeter or less just eyeballing it. So depending on your setup, you might run into trouble if you need the fan to be facing the rear of the case in a push configuration.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Everything works as advertised, the fan is quiet, large, and moves a lot of air. It works well as the top exhaust fan in my antec 300 case. I did not have any noise problems with a horizontal installation. Manufacturing and material quality seem top notch.
Cons: The rubber pins are kind of a pain to use in a horizontal installation, but it just takes a little determination, and you will win your fight with gravity. Not worth removing an egg for, but worth mentioning. Also, they(the rubber pins) are mildly a pain to remove, and they don't fit the case screw holes quite as snugly as I would like. Again, not worth taking an egg away for. This is a great product.
Other Thoughts: Hoping it lasts as long, or longer than they advertise. Will update on this later.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Just bought 4 of these to put in my antec 300 case. They are amazingly quiet for their speed, and do exactly as they are advertised as far as airflow, and rpms are concerned. They move a LOT of air. I had no trouble with the rubber pins. They all fit snugly, and none of them broke during install. All fans arrived in working condition and none have slowed down as of yet. Installation was a snap. Manufacturing quality is sound. So far I am happy PC tech. 5 eggs all around.
Cons: The rubber pins don't fit the case screw holes quite as snugly as I would like, and they are mildly difficult to remove from the fans once installed, (I accidentally put one in backwards, and had to remove and reinstall it). This was not enough for me to remove an egg though.
Other Thoughts: Hope they last as long as they say. Will update this review in the future.READ FULL REVIEW
