Why You Mad?

GIGABYTE GA-X79-UD7 LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 XL ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-X79-UD7 LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 XL ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: This boards quality of design and the quality of the components on it are impressive to say the least. It has great features and I feel very comfortable with it's dependability. This board has every feature I needed for my 3930k. I couldn't be happier with the layout of the mobo (Except one minor thing see cons*). I'm really looking forward having this board running my SandyBridge for a while...Because I'm all out of money ^_^

Cons: My computer case is the Corsair Special Edition White Graphite Series 600T, and the heatsync on the top of the mobo interfears with my radiator for the Corsair H100 cooler. Unfortunately I wasn't able to work in a push pull setup as I have had to just go with a pull set up with my fans sucking air through the radiator. Luckily though I has tested the temperatures with this set up and I concluded that I wouldn't run into any thermal issues. Just be aware...This mobo is big and takes up space for sure.

Overall Review: It's really unfortunate that some on here have had such a terrible experience and I feel their frustration as I went through absolute hell with ASUS over my Crosshair IV Extreme. (Which is in a closet because ASUS sends broken used mobos back for RMAS). My advice for those who've had a bad experience with this mobo is to ensure you get the service to deserve and I hope your 2011 is running soon because it is beautiful.

Nice But Not Without Serious Problems

ASUS VE278Q 27" Full HD 1920 x 1080 HDMI VGA DisplayPort DVI-D Built-in Speakers HDMI LED Backlight LCD Monitor
ASUS VE278Q 27" Full HD 1920 x 1080 HDMI VGA DisplayPort DVI-D Built-in Speakers HDMI LED Backlight LCD Monitor

Pros: Large screen, beautiful colors, great for movies, great for games, great for all the things I bought it for if it wasnt for one problem

Cons: Stuck pixels. This thing gets em whenever it feels like it. They show up, 1 at a time or 7 at a time and then they go away or they stay. This thing sits 11 inches from my face daily and to see stuck pixels is so depressing. You'd think that by spending this kind of money you'd get something that would suffer from this. I have never had this with any other display ever in my life. Stuck pixels appear and then they disappear. However there is one that will no go away. So ya cool story bro

Overall Review: This monitor is nice. But the pixel problem is serious. Im not some drone that stares at the dead center of the screen the whole time. I enjoy detail and I look at all the real estate this monitor has. But sometimes there's a cluster of stuck pixels sometimes there is not. I wouldn't recommend this monitor to anyone. If you spend 300+ dollars on a display, you should get something that doesn't suffer from something as random as stuck pixels all over that come and go as they please. Will I even bother trying to get ASUS to replace it? Probably not. Last time I sent in a motherboard that was no good they sent me back a used one with a fried south bridge. Thanks egg for delivering it safely and securely. ASUS thanks again for taking people's money and giving them a second hand product under the guise of quality and top of the line components.
