3 x 24"
Pros: Cost, small frame, price +free shipping, great reviews, hdmi (not using ATM) NO DEAD PIXELS!
Cons: Slight bleed in around edges - not bad at all but you can see it a bit, No vertical adjustment, only 1080 vert res.
Overall Review: I picked up 3 of these and have them running on 1 pc. Using ultramon to control them. I am very happy that they did not have and dead pixels! I will be using these in a 3D modeling environment along with 2D cad drawings. I was a little worried about the resolution not being high enough... It's not too bad, time will tell! Screens look and feel great. Now to find a triple mount stand!
Click Click
Pros: Price, RE, 5yr warranty!
Cons: one of two DOA
Overall Review: ordered two of these to replace an older RE 2TB drive... one of them was DOA. tested in two pc's... bummed that I have to pay $12 to send it back!
Not my 32/not for under counter
Pros: Strong, well built. Lots of bolts
Cons: Not a good fit for under counter mount. The arm slides down into the wall bracket so you need lots of room to mount. I took all bolts out then bolted the wall plate to wall with bracket in place. Pain to install Wire ring at wall mount is open and does not hold wires unles you clamp shut with vise grips.
Overall Review: Did not fit my 32" vizio, 400mm x 200mm mounting so I used it on kitchen tv 19" samsung.
Software included?
Pros: Does this drive come with software? the only thing I see is driver disc. what does it give you to play the blu-ray disc's. Thanks
Cons: none
swEeet netbook
Pros: build is very good, better them my dell 8500 :) I went with the white to avoid finger prints. 160hd, 10" screen, runs fine on 1gb ram. after 5 hours of running just get a little warm, nothing like my old LT. scrolling with touch pad for web pages is great. xp. minamal blotware.
Cons: power button is a bit of a con if you have large fingers. the battery life is about 5.5 hours.... not 7. hope it stays that way for a while. touch pad is to sensitive, download update... helps a bit. not compatiable with all mem. I went with the g.skill (F2-5300CL4S-2GBSQ) and when I used the Eee super hybrid engine I got the BSOD.. even after updating the HSE & bios. took ram out and has been running fine since. I get a lot of messages that screen res is not 1024x768. it does not like to stream video very well... still working on that. not xp pro.
Overall Review: I have used this thing everyday and I love it. you get so much for the money. system recovery was a snap after getting the BSOD (see cons). I went to BB and the one they have has a different batt. you will want all the batt. life you can get. if you are looking for a netbook, stop looking.
Only trust WD
Pros: name brand!! WD has great drives. don't trust your data to anyone else. I have 120's from WD that are still running... and I still trust them.
Cons: price at the time (1/16/2008) was high.
Overall Review: (1) out of the (4) that I bought would not show up under my 3ware controller (RAID 5). it worked as a single drive just fine so I kept it and ordered another one. no problems with the new one. as far as the heat, I have mine in a case in the basement... dry and cool all the time. I will be adding more of the same drives soon.
