This review is from: Kanex Model MDPDVI10FT 10 ft. iAdapt DVI Cable M-M
Pros: Cord is long enough tie up and hang clothes to dry from.
Cons: It doesn't work. Claims to be an active adapter. Feels extremely cheaply made.
Once plugged in other monitor quits working and the one that is plugged in with this cable gets an input out of bounds error message.
Pros: Runs everything at mostly highest settings.
Cons: Some games even on medium settings won't reach a good fps.
Stock fan control is a little weak.
Other Thoughts: This card is really good and I won't take off an egg because I feel I paid too much for it. It does play every game I throw at it. Just not always able to reach 60fps.
The stock controller for the fan speed is pretty horrid. I run Precision X in the background just to have the fan speed rev up a little sooner. I don't like it taking 80C to have 100% fan speed. That's a personal preference though.
This also did not like OC'ing very much. Was only able to bump the GPU clock to about 1250 before it started artifacting. Memory clock OC'd like a beast though going up to 1475 before seeing any issues.
Pros: Keeps CPU nice and cool even when overclocked.
Other Thoughts: While not under load CPU sits around 19-20C.
While under load I never see it higher than 40C.
CPU - FX4100 OC'd to 4ghz.
I had it at 4.2 with no change in heat, kept it just as cool. I just like to play it a little safe.
