Pros: Works great at short ranges, setup was easy
Cons: Unfortunately it has a weaker range than the basic n-band router I replaced - reaches office/living area fine, but frequent signal drops at the far end of the house - and its only a 1500sqft house.
Other Thoughts: I've been looking into the possibility of upgrading the antennas on the router to increase the range, but all of the ones on Newegg appear to be only 2.4ghz antennas, no 5 ghz option for the high-speed channel... Anyone have any suggestions that don't involve buying a second one to use as a repeater? As small as my house is, wireless range should not be an issue, the whole house is only about 60 feet from one end to the other.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Works quickly when it works
Cons: Numerous problems in Win 7 - 64bit current service pack/patches (worked fine on clean install of base Win7-64:
Does not read burned discs
Usually does not burn discs
Does not recognize standard cd-r, dvd-r discs as being burnable.
Every now and then it will try burning a disc, but does not result in a readable disc.
Inserting any disc in the drive results in 45-60 seconds of spin & 'thinking'.
No support for this version of the drive on ASUS site - downloading the firmware updater results in system recognizing this as version 1.05, as well as being a SCSI drive.
This review is from: SilenX IXP-54-09 80mm Case Fan
Pros: Using 3 of these fans for almost a year now (2 rear, one side intake), and absolutely love them - super quiet, no heat issues despite minor overclocking an AMD 6400 x2 and a 9800GT.
Cons: Need to use the silicone pull-plugs to get maximum sound decrease, and they barely stretch enough to get the grill on also. Wires are a bit short, so you have to unplug the fan to take the side of the case off if using as an intake.READ FULL REVIEW
