OCZ Vertex Plus R2 2.5" 240GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) VTXPLR2-25SAT2-240GB

Pros: Quick drive.

Cons: Unreliable lifespan.

Overall Review: I can't believe it. This drive died on me after only 9 months. Completely unreadable internally/externally. I brought life to my aging system with this part but now I'm regretting it.

Destroyed my Components, Horrible Design

Pros: Looked Cool, wasn't too loud

Cons: Ok so my computer used to reset randomly after a few months without warning or error screens and I hadn't the slightest clue why it was happening. I knew not to overload just one rail so my video card( EVGA GeForce 8800 Ultra) took it's two 6pin inputs from rails 1&2. I went from inspecting wiring in my house and trying different locations but it was still happening. Whatever safety measure was implemented to safeguard the system ended up severly damaging my main hard drive (Samsung 500GB SATA) my motherboard(ASUS MAXIMUS Formula w/ Core2 Quad) and the aforementioned GPU, which all happened once the PSU finally fried my mobo which barely functioned but showed signs of damage(pixelated boot & BIOS screens). All of those restarts are horrible for your system and it's really faulty design work. My setup was nowhere near capable of EVER draining 750W, and I'm now in the process of RMA'ing every major component of my destroyed system.

Overall Review: I can't believe the company can even blame it on the customers, this is a gross misdesign.
