G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C9D-16GXM

Pros: Went from 8GB over 4 slots to 16GB over 2 slots, which reduces heat, slightly, and the extra memory seems to help Win7 to load a little quicker. Blue is also my favorite color.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great for anyone needing your system to last just that extra mile before needing a total system upgrade. My system is basically 4 years old, give or take, with a 2nd gen i7 and a GTX 560.

Pros: Compact enough to put in a backpack/notebook bag, it is formed nicely to fit in your hand without feeling to small. It is wireless, has an off/on switch and the battery compartment has a slot for the compact USB dongle.

Cons: Does not have a recharging function*.

Other Thoughts: *While it doesn't have a recharging function, it was only $19.

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Laptop Memory Model F3-1600C11D-8GRSL

Pros: Memory works great in my HP notebook. Definitely gets it to boot up faster and everything run more efficiently.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Be mindful that some notebook brands does not have a dual-channel option, out the box, unless you can get into your notebook/laptop's bios settings. This is the case with my HP, but some other brands might not be the case.
