Pros: I've been running this for just over a year now, after picking it up for under $100. Amazing chip.
Cons: Stock cooler is not really sufficient to keep this cool under load. AMD states max temp is 62c, With stock cooler, I was seeing high 50s when under load.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very quite. Dig the purple.
Cons: If you try and slow them to 30%, they pretty much just shut off. However, they are so quite, you won't need to slow them down that much.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I'm a big fan of this cooler. Cheap (Although it is cheaper now), and it works great compared to the stock AMD Phenom 965 fan. Temperature drop is relative to me to balance noise and cooling. Stock fan ran at 100% all the time and barely would drop the chip to 40c at idle, and it pushed 60c+ at load. Now, with this fan at 40%, I can idle at under 40c. Running Prime95, and fan at 100%, stays under 60c. Normal gaming, 50c with fan at 60-65%. Keep in mind the 965 produces a decent amount of heat.
Cons: If you plan to just set your CPU fan at 100% and leave it there all day, this is probably going to be too loud for you. If you keep it at 70%, it is very quite. Pretty much silent below 50%. I vary my speeds with software based on CPU temp, so I never hear it.READ FULL REVIEW
