Pros: Good, until it dies.
Cons: This router has a design flaw. Google repair ASUS RT-N16 and yuo will see these routers eventually die, usually of a blown capacitor. Mine exhibited this same issue, starting with randomly powering itself off, then it finally just refused to power back on. I checked the power supply and it is within specs (12V 1.25A), so that's not the problem.
I called and spoke with ASUS support (my reference number is N140822145), and they said it was out of warranty (it is, by 1.5 months) and I would have to pay for a repair.
With a known issue like this I think they should stand behind their product and fix it. I'm avoiding any ASUS products from now on and suggest you do the same.
This review is from: BenQ FP241W Black 24" 6ms(GTG) DVI Widescreen HDMI LCD Monitor 500 cd/m2 1000:1
Pros: Great colors (I use DVI input), sturdy stand, you know the rest.
Cons: JUST FYI, I ordered mine Jan 25, received Jan 29. Came from Whittier warehouse with Nov build date so no firmware update. Mine had a bunch of bad pixels, so RMA'd to Newegg. Maybe the replacement will have the update. I have the Nvidia 8800GTX vid card so update no so critical for me.
The RMA was super easy, thanks Newegg, but a little disappointed with Benq QC department. This one should have never left the factory.
Other Thoughts: Can't wait for the replacement, working on 19" CRT just not the same.READ FULL REVIEW
