Pros: 6 cores.
Lower Power consumption compared to 8350 and other FX CPUs.
Overclocked to 4ghz stable without adding voltage.
Runs cool under full load and overclock.
Cons: Unremarkable performance in games/tasks not optimized for multi-core CPUs.
Higher power consumption than Intel.
Other Thoughts: I have been running this processor for 6 months and am very pleased. I was able to achieve an overclock of 4ghz just by adjusting the multiplier (no power or mobo tweaks required). I originally wanted to get the 8 core FX-8350, but decided the power requirement may exceed the capabilities of my budget motherboard, especially during extended gaming sessions. At 4ghz the FX-6300 has similar clock performance as 8350 and LESS power consumption. Besides most of the games I play do not fully utilize all 6 of my cores. 8 cores might just be overkill.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This is my second GTX x70 series card (upgraded from GTX 470). I personally think the x70 cards are the best value. You get most of the power of a x80, at a much more reasonable price.
The cooler design work much better than the reference design.
Cons: Though the cooler design works better than a reference design blower, it does vent the hot air back into the case. You must have good air ventilation in your case to remove this extra heat.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Works as advertised
No Problems so far!
Cons: The heat spreader makes the RAM stand a bit taller, but any normal case should still have lots of room.READ FULL REVIEW
