Pros: This thing is crazy fast for the price and is perfect for 2560x1440 gaming (60 FPS in Witcher 3 ultra + hairworks).
I was also lucky enough to get a decently binned card. My ASIC quality is 79.6% and overclocks on air up to 1533mhz and +450 on the memory. Gets a 21,614 graphics score in Fire Strike (normal) which is going to be really tough to beat without water cooling.
Cons: - From tech reviews, backplate is all show no go
- Plastic cooler
- Fan sounds like a jet engine when you start to really push the card, but that's to be expected I guess
- It's not a Classified?
Other Thoughts: EVGA continues to deliver solid products and will remain my goto manufacturer for GPUs and PSUs.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: - Fully modular cables is great - only use what you need
- Comes with a ton of cables in the box
- Exact same size as my previous 750w PSU
Cons: - Had more trouble connecting this motherboard cable than I did with my last PSU. Not a major issue though.
Other Thoughts: There's not much to say. I needed a 1000w power supply to handle 2 very high-end video cards in SLI and this thing does the job. Swapping out my old power supply for this one was a painless experience.
I normally buy EVGA video cards and Corsair power supplies. I think I'm going to stick with EVGA power supplies in the future. They make great stuff.
Pros: Shockingly powerful enough to handle 2x GTX680s in SLI. I was told it could, but I had my doubts. I figured you'd need more power.
The cables are a great length. Ships with plenty of cords. Modular PSUs are always great. Seriously, this is amazing for the money.
Cons: I can not predict the future. At present, NONE.READ FULL REVIEW
