Pros: Great board with lots of features for the money (although you'll probably never use any of those lol). Features such as Super RAID, Super-Charger, FastBoot, etc. I also like the color scheme which is black & red.
Cons: Documentation leaves something to be desired. Asus board manual and quick guide is a whole lot better. It also came with only 2 USB cables. lol Not that I need any but for those without spare parts might wanna take notice.
Other Thoughts: I used to buy only Asus boards but since I change my rig every 6 months, I don't wanna pay premium for something that I'm only gonna use for a few months anyway. So this was my first MSI board. I wasn't disappointed but the manual is really bad (coming from an Asus board builder). So far it's holding up quite well. I only gave it a 4 star rating due to poor documentation. The Live Update works fine for me on both the built-in soundcard and the Killer NIC (read somewhere that some people were having problem with those two).READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS Rampage III Formula LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: This is a really great motherboard with good layout. Everything is spaced out proportionately with room to spare. You can do SLI or even Tri-SLI without running out of room. I came from an EVGA Classified (E760) and this is a nice improvement. Now I can install HSF, fans, etc without having to worry about where to place them (Classified has this tall heatsink on their NB). I highly recommend this board if you don't want to spend $100 more for Rampage 3 Extreme.
Cons: Software that comes bundle with the board are bloated. There are only a few useful utilities that you can actually use and the rest are just junk (most of the enthusiasts I know don't even bother to overclock via software, they all do it through BIOS).
Other Thoughts: Great board for the price. I was going to buy an open-box item and save a few dollars but decided against it since a lot of people said that it's a hit-or-miss sort of thing (you may or may not get all the accessories including I/O shield when you buy the open-box). Just a thought for those that likes to live dangerously. =DREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Vantec 2.5"/3.5"/5.25" SATA/IDE to USB 2.0 Adapter - Model CB-ISATAU2
Pros: Works perfectly without having to install any driver (Win 7 Ultimate x64), showed up in explorer, my computer, etc.
Cons: The power cord is a bit stiff and had to be pushed all the way in (first it wouldn't work until I did this).
Other Thoughts: Could've been a bit less (maybe around $15 - $16) but other than that, it works great.READ FULL REVIEW
