WD Red 4TB NAS Desktop Hard Disk Drive - Intellipower SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD40EFRX

  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: i used alot of drives from different sources (3 from here, 5 from and 4 from microbyte) and most of them have never been turned off for over a year and are still in brand new state in a smart check so im very happy with my purchase

Cons: they work wonderfully how ever they are still max 5400 rpm so its not the best performance you can get but still good performance.

Other Thoughts: you can still get great performance out of these with a Raid 10 array and a carefully picked stripsize
