Pros: - Affordable Liquid CPU Cooling
- Small setup compared to Fan cooling, opens up inside of case area
- Great CPU temps (15-20C desktop idle)
Cons: - Installation tricky for me as radiator does not fit the rear fan area on my Antec 900 case! (if I follow the standard instructions)
- Somewhat cumbersome & semi-flexible radiator hoses
Other Thoughts: Went to liquid CPU cooling for the first time on my new build (3rd overall - rather than customary ball fan cooling), and see the differences right away.. Generally about 10-15 degrees cooler!
Install was relatively easy but had to perform some prep work on the back of motherboard by mounting backing plate & also had to jerry rig the radiator on the back case fan area - luckily i found some screws in my old mans shop that were long enough to set up a "push/pull" fan sandwich around the radiator. Thus keeping the airflow going from front to back of case as intended.
However the radiator "hoses" aren't very flexible and I was somewhat worried the way i have them torqued, but the hose end caps look fairly sturdy and I feel comfortable they will hold in place.
One more thing, DO NOT forget to peel off the clear film attached to heat sink before seating on the CPU...
Pros: Inexpensive, Nice looking LED lights. Works as it should.
Cons: LED blue tint is slightly different shade blue than my Antec 900/300 cases, therefore it doesn't exactly match.
Other Thoughts: Purchased combo deal on sale, 2 for $10, so can't really beat the price. Put them in the two front fan slots in my Antec 300 case. Was a breeze to install.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Just ordered my 2nd yesterday. First one I have had over two years and it's still running like a champ, with no noticeable loss of quality. Can't wait to see them side by side! Other pros: Large monitor, stable base, Matte finish, Bright & Gorgeous Picture, No Dead pixels. The built-in speakers are adequate at best, but still a nice option to have.
Cons: Probably the only thing I can knock on this model is the menu buttons on bottom right are hard to differentiate from each other and thus a little clumsy to use.. Not worth taking off a start though..READ FULL REVIEW
