Pros: This card performs amazing right out of the box. I installed this card in my sons rig to complete his build and plays any modern game pre BF4 just fine. Even games like BF4 and Metro play almost flawless even with 1 GB VRAM. It has A LOT of overclocking headroom including ample amounts of voltage adjustment. I was able to push this card from it's stock 980 MHz core clock to 1075 MHz during benching. The card runs cool even at high clocks. I highly recommend this card for a build that has a low to medium budget.
Cons: Not SLI capable, that's about it.
Other Thoughts: Like stated above, this card overclocks incredibly well. It stays very cool even at high clocks and surprised me with it's performance being at the lower end and only having 1 GB or GDDR5. I have since bought 2 more to install in medium budget builds that I have done and have had no complaints yet and do not think I will. Asus has done it again.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Excellent motherboard filled with a lot of features. Easy overclocking and looks real good. Handles a variety of RAM up to 24 gb in triple channel. This is definately good for beginners due to the fact it has auto overclock settings. push and click and instant overclock!
Cons: I had this board for a month and a half and had to rma it. My first channel wasn't recognizing my memory or any memory for that matter. I did all the things necessary to try to fix it but nothing. So needless to say i'm without a motherboard for 3 weeks while Asus repairs it. Not good. thats why only 3 eggs.
Other Thoughts: I never had a problem with Asus and find their products to be of very high quality and will continue to use them, just hope this isn't common with higher end components.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This board is fast, and is filled with options. Easy to oc and looks awesome. It has plenty of sata ports and 2 sata 6 gb/s ports, very nice! Triple channel memory option is a plus as well. also recognizes a wide variety of ram.
Cons: Well....I had this board for about a month and a half now. i noticed right away that the main psu plug when tapped shuts down the computer. tried a different psu, same thing. I wasn't about to rma my board and wait 3 weeks for something i just didnt have to touch. i let it go but then it started not recognizing my ram in dimms a1 and a2. cpu z and pc detective showed dual channel ram installed when i had triple channel in it. I did everything, pulled and resat the cpu, switched ram around, made sure my water block wasn't too tight, ran mem test reset cmos and bios. nothing. Needless to say my board is back at asus and now i have to wait. not good.
Other Thoughts: I like asus. I will still use them again and hope this is not common with their higher end mobo's. Asus customer support has been good to me so far, let's see what they say about fixing my board and not trying to say it's my fault!READ FULL REVIEW
