This review is from: Dark Souls PlayStation 3
Pros: Gameplay - Extremely challenging but rewarding gameplay. The controls are very tight and responsive, if you live or die it is completely based on your skill and strategy. Most of the times that I die are from rushing ahead without thinking. If you like a challenge you will enjoy it, but be warned, unless you have a guide or look online there is no easy way to get through this.
Graphics - looks great, just look at any video online. The physics for corpses is a little wierd but doesnt take from the gameplay.
Multiplayer - intesting. Allows co-op with other people in areas where you have not yet defeated the boss. Also allows you to invade other players games to attack them and impede their progress, adds some extra hours of fun to a great 1 player game.
Sound - orchestrated music for boss fights and lack of music for other areas. All the needed sounds add to the overall experience.
Replayability - allows multiple playthroughs with higher level mobs and multiplayer
Cons: Story - I have not finished it yet but the story is not what motivates you to move forward. It is vague and not as engaging as many other games out there, but with multiple playthroughs and some exploring you can learn more about the world than what is initially available.
Graphics - There are occasional drops in framerate. These drops have not been bad enough to effect my gameplay but should be noted.
Multiplayer - currently you cannot easily group up with a friend. The people you can group with is random based on the server you are on and some other things and there is no voice chat. If you want to play this game alongside friends, hope for a patch from the developer or find another game.
Other Thoughts: I bought this from another retailer but didn't see any reviews here so thought I would post one.
This game is challenging. I do not recommend this for someone who is looking for an easy game to play through or an engaging story. I have mainly been motivated to move forward by wondering what the next challenge will be and how I will survive it.
I have not felt my heart race in a game the same way it does in these boss fights since soul calibur 2 tournaments and I have not felt anticipation of what is coming next like this since resident evil 2.
I hope there will be a way for me to group with specific friends in the future rather than random people but overall a very fun game.
Pros: Relatively easy to put together and small but still has decent airflow.
Cons: Not the best for cable management but that is because of the limited space.
the supposedly easy to use clips for PCI cards are confusing. I broke 3 and decided to just use the screws.
The instructions were not the best.
Other Thoughts: Overall this is a great chassis for a smaller build.
My only issues were really the confusion I had with the easy PCI clips. But I would have used screws anyways to be safe. Just aggravating that I broke something I had just bought. Be gentle and careful they should not require any force if you do it right
This review is from: Rosewill RNX-N300 Wireless N Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g/n PCI (1T2R) Up to 300Mbps download and 150 Mbps upload Data Rates/ WPA/WPA2 (AES, 64,128-WEP with shared-key authentication) Cisco CCS V1.0, V2.0 and V3.0 compliant/ Vista/ Win7
Pros: wireless N but not overpriced.
Installs easily, the card, the drivers and software
Cons: havent had any problems and I have bought 2 in the past month and a half
Other Thoughts: I wanted wireless N because I have a wireless N router.
This was the cheapest reliable card I could find.
