Pros: works as advertised
Cons: While it's handy in bed, it's not a keyboard and mouse. But didn't think it would be.
Other Thoughts: To use your harmony remote with this IR receiver:
In the logitech software, Add Device. Select Computer>Media Center. Find ORTek: VRC-1100
Works fine (model number on back of this unit is vrc-1100, its just rebranded
Had it for a year now, sold under different brand name, no problems
Pros: Big sound for a bookshelf unit
Remote gives good options, easy to use
Cons: No headphone jack
No rear line in
Other things on with radio cause static
Other Thoughts: Got this refurb for 119. Didn't expect much but this unit puts out like some 300-500 dollar units. Like the sound, very clean for such a cheap system. I put this in the bedroom and you are much better off with this than one of those 200-300 surround systems. I'd buy again.
Line in is on the front, 3.5mm, thought it would have been a headphone from the location
Read the manual carefully on the troubleshooting of the radio, page 10. CD and ipod on when radio is on. You can get better reception by turning them off
This review is from: G-Cube GHS-170BK Signature Dual Mode Leather Headphone w/ Built-In Microphone
Pros: Low cost
Comfortable, much more than the clip over the ear MS unit it replaces
Cons: Very weak highs, sound is *acceptable* if I use treble boost on my Ipod Eq. Very unnatural , tinny sound, though. Mids are muddy, too. If you love thump, thump stuff these are for you.
Other Thoughts: Worth the money. Turn bass down and highs up and they aren't too shabby. If you want these for listening to a lot of music, though, look elsewhere. I've yet to find a good set of headphones with a mic for cheap. Next buy will be a pair just for music, no mic. Should have stuck to JBL or another name brand.READ FULL REVIEW
