Cons: I attempted to use this card in an MSI K9AGM motherboard. Once inserted, the machine does not post, even if I try to use the onboard graphics. It never beeps, and the display never comes on. It is possible that this is related to the card not actually being the PCIE 2.0 that newegg says it is. If 2.1, I'm told some motherboards will refuse to work.READ FULL REVIEW

Pros: Good reviews, seems well built.
Cons: I purchased two, both are the same, and a bit disappointing. Despite raving reviews, I'm led to wonder whether this is the same fan everyone else has used. Perhaps they've changed over the years.
My experience is that the fan is extremely quiet in open-air. It has some vibration, enough to rattle if the included rubber mounts are not used. The real problem is that any back-pressure at all, or restriction of the input by even the slightest amount, causes this fan to make a substantial hum. Placing a hand 2 inches from the intake while otherwise in open air repeats the hum. With two fans in the case, I achieve a beat frequency of about 1 second period between the two hums. I've tested with no obstructions within 3-4 inches of either side of the fan, and the hum remains.
