Pros: When/if you can get it to work, it if pretty fast.
Cons: Trying to use this “thing” has been an absolute nightmare... When I did finally get it set up to work correctly (insert sarcastic laughter here) , it has been nothing but lockups and crashes for the last 6 months. The longest this idiotic unit has gone with out messing up is about 40 days. It as been degrading ever since, now it seems I can't go a week w/o having to power cycle the thing every 3 days to get it to come back up. I'm just gonna give up on this piece of trash, and write off Cisco as one of the fallen ones and use this to prop up mt cat's litterbox. It will be much more stable that way.
Other Thoughts: stay away from this one like the black death... get something else.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Hauppauge WinTV-DCR-2650 Dual Tuner Digital CableCARD Receiver
Pros: Works... sometimes... When stars are aligned ..
Cons: A whole lot can be said about longevity, and the Hauppauge dcr-2650 is obviously missing the mark with this.
I got 2 of these, (Dec 2014) set up in 2 different locations (23 miles apart) and both have failed.
The first in May, and now the second one in Aug.
I expected much better for the price paid for these…
Other Thoughts: Getting WAY to familiar with the Hauppauge RMA process…
Strongly urge people to get extended warrantees for these..
This review is from: LG 20M35D-B Black 20" 5ms Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor200 cd/m2 5,000,000:1
Pros: nice low cost monitor. Does what its intended to do.
lightwt, and decent replacement for my 5 year old Asus which was starting to act up ( although not as nice -smaller )
Cons: As others have stated, it has a very limited viewing angle, and in order to get it not to look washed out, you got to really mess with it a bit.
bottom line... you get what you pay for.
