Pros: Super quiet compared to the XFX HD 5770 it replaced.
One power connection.
Plays Steam Source and the 2013 Humble Indie Bundle on Linux like it's nothing!
Hovers around 38 degrees at idle. Please note that I have this computer in a moderately-ventilated cabinet.
Cons: None so far. I have only had it for a week.
Other Thoughts: I am running Linux Mint 13 MATE 64bit.
AMD 955BE, 8GB RAM. 650W PSU
Did a fresh install when I upgraded the card just to save any headache... It was about time anyway.
I first tried to use the OpenSource/legacy drivers provided in the repo's, but OpenGL was too old and Steam Source would not play. Ended up installing the driver package from AMD's site.
(sudo sh <<THEN DRAG&DROP INSTALLER INTO COMMAND PROMP>>) Follow instructions from there.
Everything running smoothly!
Pros: Had this for a few hours. Linksys firmware is great for flashing DD-WRT. ; ]
Running in 5GHz band @ 40mhz as Client Bridge (WPA2-Personal, AES). Phenomenal! My XBMC loves it.
Looks good too.
Cons: Stock firmware doesn't download DD-WRT automatically. HEAT!
Bought this for $35.99. Next day, newegg dropped it to $33.99. Oh well.
Other Thoughts: Router gets pretty hot. I also have an e3000 as my main. It gets hot too. I use three 2-liter pop caps in tripod formation (on both e3000 and e2000) to keep in elevated off the desk... this helps a lot. Get black caps and they look pretty good too.READ FULL REVIEW
