This review is from: ZALMAN F3 FDB 120mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing Case Fan
Pros: 3-pin connector instead of molex, super quiet even without the resistor, good airflow, good value
Cons: If it was possible to do 1/2 eggs, they'd lose 1/2 for coming with these ridiculous silicone pins that are impossible to use and no screws provided as an alternate. Thankfully I was able to scavenge the ones off my old case fans
Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these to replace Antec Tri-Cools that came with my P180 case (those failed with bearing noise). Will definitely buy 2 more of these when the other Tri-Cools fail.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Antec Performance One P180 Silver cold rolled steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: I've had this case since 2007 and still believe it's the best case I've ever owned. Operation is almost silent and the minimalist design (no ridiculous windows or blue LEDs) is perfect for those with taste. There is enough room for more hard drives than you will ever need.
Cons: - You will notice the weight of the steel, especially once all of your gear is inside.
- Cable management will require long PSU cables, especially for the 4/8 pin CPU power.
- Large video cards may run into the upper hard drive bay.
Other Thoughts: Original fans had bearing failure at about 3.5 years - replacement was easy since they are standard 120mm.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Upgraded to this from an 8800 card and the difference in performance is staggering. The 1G version was definitely worth the couple extra bucks.
Runs GTA IV on the maximum settings, even without an overclock. Have yet to find anything that makes it heat up either.
Cons: Eats quite a bit of power, so make sure you have at least a 450W PSU with minimum 31A on the +12v rails.
It would also be helpful for Newegg to list power consumption info on the specs pages for video cards so I would have known upfront I needed a better PSU and could have ordered them all at once.
Other Thoughts: It fits well in my Antec P180, but I wish the card was designed for ATX (heatsink on top), especially since it vents into the case air instead of out the back.READ FULL REVIEW
