Pros: Had a nice, sleek design that accommodated larger devices. Had that option of lying flat or propped up on an easy to setup stand.
Cons: Stopped working after a little over a month of use. Not sure what happened, just died. No power light when plugged in, tested on multiple outlets. Attempted placing other qi wireless devices on it, no change. Just dead. Going to seek a refund.
Other Thoughts: I took a chance with a manufacturer that I wasn't familiar with (Aukey). I probably won't use their products again, but this return process will be the key factor.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Assassin's Creed 3 PC Game
Pros: Great graphics, as long as the game runs.
Cons: I only gave this game a 1/5 because 0/5 is not an option. Game runs for no longer than 5 minutes at a time before bugging out. Bugging out defined as my desktop overlays the game and all I get is sound. When running Task Manager, the game is reported as "Not Responding". I have been trying to get Ubisoft to do something about this since I got the game on 11/28, and here I am just before Christmas with it still non-funtioning. Good thing I didn't buy this for anyone other than myself.
There is no real reason for this me hitting this bug. I get it no matter what graphic settings I apply (lowest or highest). My rig should blow this game away:
Intel Core i7 930 @ 2.8Ghz
12GB DDR3 1600
EVGA GTX 570 Superclocked Edition.
Other Thoughts: Ubisoft Customer Support is the biggest joke I've ever encountered. I assured them I was up to date on my drivers, both sound and graphics, and then they tried to close my ticket on me. I got them to open it again, but I never actually know what my status is really set to on their system, and the rep tries to tell me that "your graphics card appears modified, please reset it to factory settings and try it again" when I explained to them already that my card IS at factory settings. I then explained to him how that shouldn't matter anyway unless my card was over-heating (never went above 55C). Then he tried to close my ticket again, got him to re-open it again, and then he tells me to update my graphics again. I feel shoved to the side with this issue and Ubisoft won't take it seriously because I already bought the game. When I asked them about a refund, they deferred it to being NewEgg's problem. I will never purchase a Ubisoft game again.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2500 High-power 2.1 PC Speaker System
Pros: Absolutely great sound coming out of these. As with any speaker system, it takes a minute to tweak it to the proper settings, but this system was not difficult to use at all. The sheer simplicity of use coupled with its great sound make this a sweet buy. (I didn't buy this from Newegg only because I had a gift card for else where.)
Cons: Look up the dimensions of the sub, it's pretty big. This isn't really a con, but I did have to shimmy some things around to get this bad boy to fit. Something to think about before you purchase. The sub is about 1"x1.5"x10'
Other Thoughts: I was hesitant with purchasing these because I wasn't sure about the Corsair brand behind them. I have purchased Corsair memory and PSUs, but sound systems seemed like a pretty far out there market for tem to explore. However, they've come through in spades for me with this system.READ FULL REVIEW
