Pros: Pretty fast little drives. The read speed is certainly good.
They certainly are well designed. They are durable and a great size. They aren't so small that I'm going to lose them, but not so big they are a hassle.
Cons: The write speed could be better. It isn't terrible, but it is why they are docked an egg. They are too big to reasonably live on my keys... but I didn't buy them to live on my keys anyway.

Pros: Provides power!
Other Thoughts: I bought this for my Ivy Bridge generation Intel NUC. As some may or may not know, these machines shipped with a power block, but no cable. So this cord fits the bill. It provides power and seems of good quality. It seems pretty heavy duty.

Pros: This drive is of excellent quality at a price that is truly unbeatable. I have nothing but good things to say about this drive. I think it is amazing that Crucial has put the RAIN functionality in this drive, as that feature is well worth the slightly reduced overall capacity.
Cons: This drive causes my POST (Power On Self Test) to have increased by a couple seconds. Unfortunately, machine firmware cannot really be debugged...
Other Thoughts: I bought this drive to be matched up with my Sansung 840 250GB. I put these two drives in a ~220GB btrfs raid1 (self healing, ftw!). It has thus far been excellent, easily keeping up with its raid1 counterpart. I was a bit concerned at first that the drive speeds might differ vastly, but they are pretty well matched.
If anyone out there is looking at these drives, I would highly recommend them. They employ the redundant array of independent NAND technology that crucial offers on their enterprise drives. They also have large amounts of ddr3 RAM and creat Marvell controllers (SSDs are like little RISC computers). Thus this drive should be efficient and reliable.
The one thing is that because of the manufacturing process, this drive has less overall flash chips than its larger brethren (obviously). While this is fine in terms or read performance, the write performance is about 1/2 of what it is on the 480GB or 960GB drives. This is because the flash in SSDs are set up to work like a striped raid0 drive, distributing small bits of info across all the flash chips. Thus it is not limited by the speed of just a single chip. So if you are looking for Moar Speed! then get at least the next size up from this one.
