Pros: low cost
Cons: my last high-end asus router died after about a year, so i replaced it with this budget model. unfortunately this one drops both wireless and wired connections for about 1 minute, roughly once every 5-10 minutes. frustrating! firmware is v1.0.2 and as of this writing there are no newer firmware updates available for this model on linksys.com.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: this unit has by far, the most amazing signal strength i've ever seen.
i've tried a half-dozen or so different wireless adapters of various brands over the past five years in an attempt to improve upon the very weak signal i'm pulling from the 1st floor master bedroom of my 4k sqft house.
well, this one blew all the others! i'm actually shocked that it consistently pulls in five bars, whereas every other adapter i've ever tried pulls from barely one bar (useless) to two bars at best.
easy to install - plugged it into my win7 box and it just worked, perfectly. i didn't need the included driver disc.
cheap as nuts!
the included remote usb adapter cord is a nice plus.
Other Thoughts: for a seemingly 'value' brand, rosewill has surprisingly strong products. i've purchsed a number of rosewill branded products over the years and they have all worked quite well.READ FULL REVIEW
