Pros: Screen resolution. 32gb. Dolby sound. Great battery life. Solid build quality. Great value for $350.
Cons: None for me.
Other Thoughts: It took 1 week after i got this before the updates to Jelly Bean 4.1.1. arrived. But that took the A700 from 2-3 stars to 5 stars. Everything is quicker smoother and more stable. I have owned an ipad and asus prime and this is just as good and then some. I am happy i bought this.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS P7P55D-E LGA 1156 Intel P55 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Linux kernel-2.6.31 recognizes all the devices on this board and loads the drivers for LAN, sound etc. It also loads the new USB3 driver XHCI and the SATA 6gbs Marvell 9123 driver.
All 9 SATA ports are working (the 2 Marvell 6gbs at regular speed). Power consumption seems low and the board runs cool with Silent fan settings in BIOS.
Tested ACPI Suspend and wakeup successfully.
Also the BIOS allows low voltage memory DD3 at 1.3v
Cons: I don't have any USB3 or SATA 6GBs to test, but Linux recognizes those chips and loads the drivers, so its ready for testing, when the new devices are out.
Other Thoughts: This is not a thorough review, just first impressions and that everything seems to work out of the box for Linux.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: MSI DKA790GX Platinum AM2+/AM2 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Running the latest linux kernel (2.6.27-rc5) everything feels quick and smooth. Also using the latest radeonhd driver. I have not tweaked the o/c settings but my Phenom 9850 is stable at 3 Ghz (15x multi), tested with stresscpu2. I really like the way DrMOS keeps the power mosfets temps cool with the Phenom at 100% load. I definitly prefer this MSI board to the *M3A78-T i tried earlier.
Cons: none yetREAD FULL REVIEW
