This review is from: Energy Power12 Sub 12" 150W Front-Firing Rear Ported Subwoofer (Black)
Pros: Impressively compact for a 12" sub. I'm using this is a medium-sized room and this works perfectly and hits much deeper than my 6 year old 10" Polk. Very happy with this purchase so far.
Cons: Simple design, but this is under an end-table so it's not really seen anyway. While this works beautifully in my 14' x 14' living room, I plan on moving soon soon to an open loft so unsure how it will do in a massive space, but for this price I can just pick up a second one and still have plenty of bass for way less compared to the price of most subs out there. Will update if I do this!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Energy Power Bar One All-In-One Sound Bar w/ Built-in Subwoofer
Pros: I bought a new 42" Panasonic with great picture but poor sound and knew I would need to buy some type of audio for this. I shopped around and chose the Energy Power Bar One over some others in this price range because it was all inclusive - no additional sub and simple remote. I synced the remote to my cable box to control all audio and use the optical input on the Energy Bar. Great sound, nice bass, and tons of output for the size!
Cons: no digital coax input, have to connect with Digital Optical or Analog RCA inputs, which worked fine for me since my cable box has all of these outputs. Optical seems to be the most common these days so this really isn't an issue, just need to make sure your devices don't JUST have digital coax first.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: dead on arrival
Cons: My Windows 7 (64) does not recognize the drive at all despite countless attempts to fix firmware and driver. Unfortunately I installed this just over 30 days after purchase and am stuck with a dead product. I searched online and there were plenty of threads with issue after issue. Value-priced but a gamble for sure.READ FULL REVIEW
