BELKIN BE112234-10 10 Feet 12 Outlets 3996 Joules Surge Protector w/Phone/Ethernet/Coax Protection
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Does what it should. Low profile is nice, fits easily where I want it to and slides in and out without the wires getting caught.

Cons: Wire organizers get crowded?... is that a con?

Other Thoughts: Have everything in my entertainment setup run through this (TV, computer, two consoles, modem, router, etc.) Haven't filled all the sockets, but the spacing is really well designed.

Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250(HVR-2255) Dual TV Tuner w/ MPEG-2 Encoder PCI-E x1 - OEM
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: Basically plug and play. Bought for a media center that needed a low profile bracket, this included it and install was easy.

Cons: Maybe I'm missing something here, but I tried twice, and the CD included said it didn't have the correct drivers. Took off one egg because I had to go to the website and download.

Other Thoughts: So far works great. Maybe I'm being a little harsh with the con, but it annoyed me.

Wish the price was lower too... 10$ more for the remote seemed excessive.

SILVERSTONE NT07-775 90mm CPU Cooler

3 out of 5 eggs Not the quality I would have expected 09/14/2010

This review is from: SILVERSTONE NT07-775 90mm CPU Cooler

Pros: Fits LGA 775 port. Cools decently well. Pretty quiet.

Cons: Arrived in rather bad shape, the metal part of one of the clips was badly bent. Needle nose pliers were able to fix that.

Fan refuses to stay clipped to the heat sink. Ended up breaking part of the plastic to try and get it to clip securely on... oddly enough, it fits tighter once broken in two places than it did in one piece...

Other Thoughts: Bought for a media center, didn't want to have to deal with a replacement, so pulled out the tools and fixed it myself. The cracked plastic might be fixable with some super glue, but it honestly fits better now, so I think I'll leave it.
