This review is from: Rosewill RHB-620 (RIUH-11002) 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub
Pros: Cheap, easy to use, worked great for almost 2 years.
Cons: Failed too soon.
Other Thoughts: Failed after 18 months or so. Only sign of errors was random problems with various programs and "The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk6\DR6" in Win7 event log. Switching ports worked for a little while, then errors returned.
Different hub (another manufacturer) resolved issues.
Also note that, as packaged, I believe this items does not comply with US warranty laws. There is no statement of warranty included.
This review is from: Vantec 2.5"/3.5"/5.25" SATA/IDE to USB 2.0 Adapter - Model CB-ISATAU2
Pros: Don't know - was DOA.
Cons: DOA. Unfortunately, I didn't check it out when it first arrived, so it's past the 30-day period during which I could have Newegg replace it. I put in my RMA request yesterday to Vantec. I'll update this review when I see how they handle this.READ FULL REVIEW
Cons: UPDATE 11/11/11: Received the replacement 2 sticks from PNY - DOA, failed Memtest86 immediately.
No doubt they'll want me to pay to return this pair, too.
