Pros: It stops the keys from bottoming out, I like that sound though. The feel is pretty much the same if I'm honest you're mileage may vary. The light still passes through just fine it blocks a little but not enough to notice it, I'm pretty sure most people will put their settings to high and forget.
Cons: I don't recommend double ringing with these since some of the keys get mushy, and the ones that aren't mushy just pop out from time to time. This should be expected since they weren't intended to be rigged this way. MSRP price is also a little high.
Other Thoughts: They work great, I got them at a discount price. Either way if you get them they'd be good enough so see the substantial difference. I don't know if it justifies the cost but I'm happy I installed them. I'm working with cherry blue keys on a FUNC KB-460. I didn't want to buy a key remover so I took off the cover and replaced all keys by hand. It makes the process easier by giving you more room to grip, but it might not be for the faint of heart if you know what I mean. I'm knocking an egg off for the MSRP price, but when purchased at about half that, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to enhance their cherry experience.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Func FUNC-KB-460-US-BL KB-460 Mechanical Keyboard with Blue Cherry MX Switches
Pros: You got the Func. Literally plug and play (your experience may vary). Mechanical Cherry Blue. Programmable. Great packaging. Has not failed on me yet. 2 usb on board and in the right place (not 3.0 though). Simple and to the point actually.
Cons: MSRP is VERY high when you consider it doesn't have a lot going for it. Doesn't come with a key puller like it says in the manual. If you get past the solid construction it does look pretty normal, like there's nothing really special about it (sigh). The finish looks quite good though, but it's also the finger print magnet, and you can easily see dust and small particles that make you want to clean it every now and then (some spots feel like they don't go away...). The red backlight is good, it works really well when I need it to, but now everyone thinks you got cherry reds
Other Thoughts: Essentially a no-nonsense cherry blue keyboard that does everything a regular non-mechanical keyboard does. Compared to other keyboards in its class however, it doesn't have the in your face color options. The MSRP is also quite ridiculous there are cheaper options if you're looking for something similar, but I got this when it was a $79.99 (SOLID deal if you ask me). With GREAT build quality and presentation I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a quality board. But truth be told I'd be hard pressed to even consider getting a mechanical keyboard if don't see any real world difference, and it really all comes down to what you want. Choose the color before the board, then try it out before actually buying. I got this baby because I liked to type and getting that sound feedback was godly thanks to my preference of cherry blues.
4 eggs for excellent build and presentation
-1 for fact that it doesn't feel very special
Pros: Low power requirements, quiet, sweet design, Nvidia support, EVGA branding, and probably the best single fan 750 on the market.
Cons: Not the best at msrp. For a few bucks more you could probably get the 660 or better, OR, you could probably get the 270x, which a majority players prefer for around the same price range. Therefore, if you're looking for a super competitive in your face gpu that will make your buddies cry on Sunday, you're looking in the wrong place.
Other Thoughts: This baby can play skyrim on ultra settings with my crabby stock a6-5400k. I got this gpu to stay within the limits of my 400w psu. Needless to say, if you're looking for one of best power efficient gpu's for the price I highly recommend this product.READ FULL REVIEW
