This review is from: Bungbungame MiSS (MI100) - Ultra-Thin Transparent Protective Case
Pros: Nice snug fit, should do a good job protecting the tablet.
Verified the tablet DOES fit in the docking cradle with protector installed.
Cons: A little pricey.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Older design from 2012, but still a great tablet. Nice screen for a non-IPS. Super smooth feel to screen like my Nexus 7 tablet. No incompatible apps have been found yet. Rootable? Yes, bootloader unlocks in standard way, Cydia Impactor can root.
Cons: Requires charging cradle to add USB 2.0 port and standard HDMI port. You can buy a separate 30-pin HDMI cable ($10) if you don't want the cradle, but want to use HDMI to your TV. I bought the cradle ($34) and really like it.
Other Thoughts: Mine came with Android 4.1.1 already installed (from 2012). There is an OTA system update to 4.1.1 (Feb. 2013) and I would highly recommend upgrading the first thing you do. Also, be careful to select the right language on first boot. There is a 120MB video about Taiwan in the System Partition (why?). I liked my first tablet so much, I bought a second when the tablet went on sale again for ($130).READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Acer ICONIA A1-810-L403 Tablet 8.0", 1.20GHz, 1GB Memory, 16GB, Touchscreen
Pros: Rock solid 8" tablet. Very secure. After 2 Acer OTA updates, all vulnerabilities will be patched. So, don't expect this tablet to be easily rooted. Tablet looks new. Run fast, boots fast. No problems with app incompatibility. HDMI output and memory card slot a plus.
Other Thoughts: Great price of $86 when on sale at Newegg.READ FULL REVIEW
