This review is from: Foxconn R10-S4 Intel Dual-core Atom 330 Intel 945GC Intel GMA 950 Barebone
Pros: Very capable system: nice quiet fan, good enough graphics for HD, much more compact than a mini-tower.
Cons: Atom CPUs are not powerhouses, but that wasn't why you bought this system.
Other Thoughts: The power supply is a TFX form factor, *not* Mini-ITX as stated on literature. Get the right size if your PSU gave out.
For wireless, I eventually settled on a tethered antenna, as USB dongles just didn't cut it. I suppose a model with built-in wireless would have been more appropriate.
Pros: - Covers the major formats without going slot crazy.
- Installs onto a mobo header, no drivers required in 32-bit OS.
Cons: - My SD port recently stopped working. Card must be pressed against the reader to make full contact.
- Gaps between the bezel and actual card slots are wide enough to push a memory card through.
Other Thoughts: - Some slots load upside-down.
- Not sure if there are 64-bit drivers available, or if the OS has this covered.
Pros: Ready for Windows 7.
Cons: Useless cap if not used for a laptop; won't stow on itself.
Other Thoughts: Not completely trouble-free, even with Win7 doing everything, but at least you can power cycle it much easier than an internal card.READ FULL REVIEW
