Kingston 256MB 144-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 System Specific Memory for HP/Compaq Model KTH-LJ2015/256
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Installed in my HP CP2025n. I know have 384MB's of memory!
three times the memory for $10.99 I think HP's website said "HP 256 MB DDR2 144-pin DIMM CB423A $599" seams a little high, maybe a typo.

Cons: at first it didn't show up, I installed it, changed the setting on my computer, but it still would not show anything more then the 128MB on board. not sure which of the following fixed it as I did them all at the same time.
1. changed the setting under printer properties to 384MB's
2. turned off the printer, once shutdown unplugged it.
3. reseated the memory module.
4. plugged in the power, hit the power button
5. printed a config page, and TA! DA! 384MB

Other Thoughts: overall, a bit frustrating for a few minuets but once it worked I'm happy. the printer did take a long time (about 2 min) to boot once the module was reseated. but it prints full size graphics on 8 1/2 x 11 without hesitation, where as before it would pause between pages that had a lot of graphics.

5 out of 5 eggs Awesome Tool for College and L.E. 02/04/2011

This review is from: Livescribe 1GB USB Pulse Smartpen tablet & notebooks bundle

Pros: 1. Size - nice size for a grip, about the size of a Dr. Rx pen in diameter
2. Screen - Clear and easy to read screen, can change brightness.
3. Sound - great at recording audio in my class rooms.
4. Applications - a good handful of applications available from LiveScribe (for purchase of Course).

I can see this has many uses (for me anyway) in College, at work in Information Technology, and in Law Enforcement (My hobby on the side).

NOTE: Mine came with 5 notebooks, the four pack + the one that comes with the pen kit. The pen kit is a retail box inside a combo box. it is not a "White Box" but an off the shelf kit!!!

Cons: 1. Software - is only available online, not really a con but worth noting
2. Software - is not well explained, once you use it for 10 min you have it figured out, but there is no breakdown of the screens and what they do included in the package.

other than that, it is a really great tool.

Other Thoughts: This is an amazing pen. I bought it on a whim thinking maybe it would help while I'm in college furthering my current degree.
Knowing that most of the time USB is universal and drivers can be loaded after the fact, I decided to heed the label and load the software first. So I charged it overnight plugged in to a USB charger. The next morning I installed the software, set the time, bla bla bla...
I played with it a little and it is awesome. Taking notes in class is great. You can record the audio in the room and write little notes or “Keywords” as you go. Once you download the data to the computer you can click on any word (words in green have audio clips associated with them) and it will play the audio recording from that point. (i.e. you start recording and writing at the beginning of class, a half hour later your instructor gives the requirements for a major project, you write “PROJECT 1” in your notes, later you click PROJECT 1 and it will replay the audio giving you the assignmen
