This review is from: ZyXEL NBG418N Wireless N Home Router IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g/n
Pros: Easy configuration, no matter what your use. I don't know what Joe is talking about as page 137 of the manual show you how to easily configure the router as a Router, Access Point, Client Bridge, or Universal Repeater. With one selection you can easily configure the router for your purpose. I wanted an Access Point. Selecting that option changes the IP address to 192.168.1.2 and turns off DHCP. You can do both of the above manually, but the router will do it automatically if you aren't technically proficient.
Cons: The easy configuration is on the last page and not the first, so it isn't as obvious as it could be.
Other Thoughts: This was purchased as a roll over access point since my main router intermittently stops working on the wireless G network. After initial configuration there have been no issues with this router.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fits almost all HP laptop drives without having to remove the drive from the drive cage. The amount of time saved by this feature alone makes it worth the purchase price.
Cons: None that I've noticed.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Good drive while it works.
Cons: Won't read Blu-rays after eight months, DVD functions work fine. Since the price premium is for the Blu-ray ability I feel like I've been ripped off. As most of my collection is DVDs I haven't used the Blu-ray functionality. In total I've read less than 10 Blu-ray disk on this drive.
Other Thoughts: I'll put this drive on the shelf since the DVD/CD functions seem to work fine, but am very disappointed that I paid extra for a feature that doesn't work.READ FULL REVIEW
