Great workstation card

HP FirePro W5100 J3G92AT 4GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Plug-in Workstation Video Card
HP FirePro W5100 J3G92AT 4GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Plug-in Workstation Video Card

Pros: Windows 10 installed Catalyst and drivers without prompting.

Cons: Doesn't ship with any DP adapters for VGA, DVI, or HDMI

Overall Review: A little worried when a label on static bag warned that it could only be installed in an HP system. HP must have ordered too many? No matter, works fine on custom build.

May not be compatible with W530

Lenovo 433715U ThinkPad Mini Dock Series 3 with USB 3.0 Fru # 433710U/45m2489/75y5735/04w1502/04w1816

Pros: Powers up external monitors fine.

Cons: Getting warning that it is not right adapter to charge laptop, seems as though the 90 brick might be too weak to feed externals, and charge laptop.

Overall Review: Researching and finding out others are having same issue, someone might need to adjust compatibility list. Might need 170 Watt station for W530 at least.

Missing WLAN

Pros: Installing Windows updates, no problems so far.

Cons: Under specs/communications for this product, WLAN and ethernet are both listed. Received this today, and there is no WLAN, only ethernet.

CORSAIR 1GB DDR 400 (PC 3200) Desktop Memory Model VS1GB400C3
CORSAIR 1GB DDR 400 (PC 3200) Desktop Memory Model VS1GB400C3

Pros: After many Memtest runs, and trying different configurations, I'm fairly confident that the memory is fine. As soon as I put in a third stick, the CL drops to 2.5 from 3, and reported speed drops to 333 mhz from 400. But with 2 of these, and 2 of the original 512 mb Infineon modules, it stays at 400 mhz, and CPUZ verifies. So I'm sure it has something to do with this Gateway GM5088 motherboard, and the way they pair up automatically. My apologies, Corsair, I would remove the original post if I could figure out how to.

Cons: None
