This review is from: LINKSYS RE1000 Wireless-N Range Extender
Pros: Easy to install and when i say easy, i mean as in EASY.
Cons: No wall mount available.
Other Thoughts: Works flawlessly and does exactly what the manufacturer says it would (how often does that happen). Extended total range (indoors) by 75ft. Handles traffic well and we tested it by bombarding it with simultaneous DL's to an iPad, two iTouches, two iPhones and an XBox. Only the Xbox skipped a beat.. Not bad for a less than $100 product. I'm very happy with the results.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: HAWKING HAO14SDP Hi-Gain 14dBi Outdoor Directional Antenna Kit
Pros: Easy to install. Good range.
Cons: Had to pay $30 for a longer cable...
Other Thoughts: Gained 1000 feet within thirty degree angle on horizontal for less than $150 total. If everything was this easy, life would be a breeze wouldn't it?READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Lightning fast. Zero noise and no heat.
Cons: Would have hoped for the price to drop by the time that I bought the fourth one, but it didn't.
Other Thoughts: I bought four of these (two for each of our HP HDX laptops). OS on one, and EVERYTHING else on D.
Drivers for SSD's on an HDX is a b*.*. and HP doesn’t like it when you replace their "state of the art drives" in their ten thousand dollar laptops, so no help from them (who would have thought).
I gave these drives a five for the simple reason that they’ve been working for a year (four drives, two shifts per day) and I've never had a single issue with any of them. Isn't that what you want in a fast drive?
Newegg is Newegg, so the price was the best you could find, and the delivery was as quick as what you could hope for. Isn't that what you want in a retailer?
Vid link shows power on to browser in less than a minute. HDX stock was four minutes! I know it doesn't mean much in and of itself to boot so much faster, but darn I appreciate not having to wait for the other three minutes...
