Pros: Great for the money. Still has XP drivers available (a plus). Quiet, cool, not gonna overclock it just yet.
I'll edit this review in 1 month, if card exceeds expectations.
Cons: none yet. Just bought number 2 for different build (not SLI).
Other Thoughts: like the short spec. fits in micro ATX environments. Like the aluminum cowling. It's svelte!
Comes with overclock software (beware!).....
Pros: where to begin?
-silicone grommets on HDD inserts work great for shock dampening.
-always 0 mfg. defects.
-did i mention quiet?
-nice convex 80mm fan grill to keep things safe. also easier to clean.
-extra air ports just above cardslots.
-slotted port covers, so they stay where you put them.
-Antec 500w PSU good for backup, or barebones system.
Cons: -broke the door off the first one I owned. Watch it!
-door latch can be a bit 'sticky'. Once it's been used a few times, it does what it should.
-got nothing else
Other Thoughts: I own 3, and 1 of the lil' brothers (ANTEC Sonata Proto) and I love them.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 AM3 AMD 890GX HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: easy initial cable config, as always. ASUS quick-connect adapters make all the small case connections easy.
Runs cool. Just the stock AMD and 80mm case fan, together with 800W PSU with its own fan.
Cons: first mobo fail. Bought a 2nd one to isolate issue : memory slot problem. Only 1x2gb stick would work in any slot. Try to place 2, and nothing.
A lot of fiddling to get it just right. Certain RAM needs clock adjustment in on-board tools.
Other Thoughts: time will tell. plenty o' haters on the boards for this model, but it may be a mfg. defect solved with replacement.READ FULL REVIEW
