This review is from: ASUS P6T LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Great BIOS features for tweaking and OCing, many good useful features
Cons: have had an issue with almost every part of the board. The ethernet controller will lose connection with the cable, USB ports will stop recognizing devices plugged in, SATA drives in AHCI mode will randomly stop working, Win 7 64-bit BSODs with a clock interrupt error, cursor lags and jumps around the screen when using a USB mouse, computer freezes and hangs frequently, and thats just to name what happened today.
Other Thoughts: I like Asus and am sad to see that this board has been so terrible. I have yet to be able to contact Asus support but I hope the help they provide is better quality than this board.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Logitech THX Z-5300e 280 Watts RMS 5.1 Speaker
Pros: very powerful bass, crisp highs, and strong mids. these speakers are some of the best computer speakers i've ever heard, and i work in the computer department at best buy and we sell the expensive bose and klipsch systems. Only system ive heard that sounds better is the bigger brother the z-5500's. have had these speakers for 3 years and had no problems with them at all. very durable, i frequently transport them and use them for parties. recently bought a razer barracuda ac-1 sound card which made them sound even more amazing than they already did. would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a good 5.1 system and isnt looking to spend $300.
Cons: speaker wires are a little short, but some cheap rca extenders did the trick. also the matrix upmixing thats built into the speakers is kinda a joke.
Other Thoughts: very nice speakers and very powerful. i bought them 3 years ago at best buy for $200, still very much worth the money i paid.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: DFI ICFX3200-T2R/G LGA 775 ATI CrossFire Xpress 3200 IE ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: amazing board, especially for a new release. very stable. more BIOS options then most people could know what to do with. BIOS is great now but new ones down the road will be even better. Oscar Wu did a great job designing the BIOS for this board.
Cons: The northbridge heatsink kinda sucks. my northbridge runs at 54C which is a bit hot but still not nearly as hot as the 680i chipsets. The plastic in the PCI-E slots and DIMMS is kinda cheap to, but as long as u dont mess around with them much theyre fine.
Other Thoughts: comes with some nice utilities like smartguadian that monitors cpu northbridge and the power controller temps as well as fan speeds. also comes with AMD system manager to do some OCing in windows. Not really a problem with the board, more with the case, but a warning to anyone who has a thermaltake aguila, the karajan module sits to high off the board to mount the back fan in the case, i had to attach my fan to the outside of the case :(READ FULL REVIEW
