This review is from: GIGABYTE Radeon RX 480 G1 Gaming 8GB GV-RX480G1GAMING-8GD Video Card
Pros: Haven't had an issue running anything at max so far [1920x1200, but we'll say 1080p for convenience]
Installed nice and easily, though make sure to uninstall prior Radeon drivers if you're replacing sans reformat
Runs surprisingly cool and quiet with everything I've thrown at it
Fans turn off when temp is low enough [Sounds useless, but helps with bearing wear and probably power consumption too]
Aluminum backplate gets hot, but that means it's venting heat as it should be
Drivers are working fine as of now
Cons: Apparently drivers were bad on release, but I can't say that's a current con
Backplate does get hot, but decent circulation helps
Other Thoughts: Maybe could've done with tiny fins on the backplate to really disperse heat, might end up making a custom plate but not sure how that'd go.
The person that said the backplate is plastic clearly doesn't have eyes or hands because either could be used to discern that it's black painted brushed aluminum...
Haven't run into a driver issue yet, either. Installed cleanly and haven't seen a single crash, but I guess I didn't get it when it was first released [and if you're reading this, neither will you]

Pros: If you can get it to run, when you get it to run, it's nice. When you get it to run. If you can. You won't, at least not for long, especially when they put out updates. But hey, if you can, it's great.
Cons: These drivers were programmed by people that Downs Syndrome patients would call slow. Even vegetables have more brain function, these people are practically on par with corpses.
So, get custom drivers, right? Because I mean, the people that made this are complete failures in every viable way when it comes to programming, even though they got the hardware right, so--
Nope! Proprietary. You have to deal with these horrendous, nonfunctional, incessantly crashing drivers for the ENTIRE DURATION of your ownership. These horrendous drivers clash with everything imaginable, and there's literally nothing you can do about it. Have fun.
Other Thoughts: Can you mistakes just release a version of this that allows for custom drivers? Seriously, if you can't do it right, let someone who doesn't suck do it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It's fast, cheap, runs pretty cool. Sure, it's not extremely high end, but it's extremely price efficient.
Cons: Newegg can't seem to ship anything that isn't DOA. It seems half the things I order off this site are broken in some way. This isn't the fault of the manufacturer, though, so I'm only removing one.
Other Thoughts: I wish Newegg would do a better job with their quality control - I swear when they get things as returns they just slap them back on the shelves without a single refurb/repair. Gunna have to get a replacement, but I shouldn't have to do this every single time I order something.
Their motto should be something like "DIY to DOA in 4-7 business days." It even rhymes, more or less.
This'll probably be removed though, due to "Criticism of Newegg.com's service" being a review guideline, but it's pretty despicable to remove what you don't like.
