Pros: It was cheap when i bought it
Cons: Hp bloat ware gets installed even when you specify on the website that you only want the drivers. Paper jammed a lot. Doesnt have the extended ascii character set so it doesnt know the Ω symbol. GF cant really use it for homeworkREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: This thing has enough room in it for me to sit in it.
Very well built
Cons: The hot swap bays are not designed for laptop HDDs. (Unlike the corsair 900D it has mounts for your HDDs so they can slide into place.)READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Supper light and very stylish
Cons: I have to buy a new case for the laptop because my old one is made for 15.6in laptops :(
The Windows button is on the right side of the keyboard instead of the left. (This is really odd because all keyboards minus this one has a windows button on the left and not the right. So this will take a lot of time to get used to.)
Tons of bloatware.
Other Thoughts: I bought this laptop because I am going to college for video game programming and the main reason was for the DirectX 11 support that I will be needing for the Junior Project.
I find it funny that the company gives you a driver cd for a laptop that has no cd/dvd drive. Maybe a very small USB or SD card would be more preferred.
The OS is installed on the SSD but I will be changing that because this laptop supports intels smart response technology which turns the SSD into cache for the HDD.
To bad you cant choose to not have the OS installed on the laptop so you wouldn't have to pay for it. My school gives me windows 8.1 pro 64bit for free which I will be installing.
