This review is from: Acronis True Image 2016 - 1 PC
Pros: I just built a new pc with Win8.1 and upgraded to Win10.
I tried to clone the Win10 C drive with Acronis 13. Had several problems. I got the Acronis16 and the disk was copied in 10 minutes. I attempted to boot up to the new drive and Win10 display a problem and attempted reboot.
The reboot was successful. PC is up and running on the Clone C drive. I powered down, disconnected the clone drive, and rebooted with the original C drive.
Cons: Don't know why the 1st attempt at booting with the clone drive had problem. Obviously, I prefer that it boot up with no problems. I intend to keep and use the Acronis 2016.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Installed motherboard with no problems. Started with a Windows 8.1 64 bit. Never really tested the gigabyte pgms.
Updated bios using a flash drive (press DEL at bootup)
No problems here. OS ran great, 3.6ghz cpu helped.
CPU - AMD A6-5400k Trinity FM2 3.6 ghz
Used original heatsink
MEM - Hyper fury black 8gb 1866 240 pins
PS - APEVIA ICEBERG ATX-IB680W-BL 680W ATX12V
CD/DVD drive - asus
Cons: Upgraded to Windows 10 and had problems.
Gigabyte pgm would not work without giving me a pop-up about the drivers. Never thought I would do this but, I uninstalled all of the gigabyte pgms including the EasyTune6. Trying to overclock seem to corrupt the bios, so I reloaded. . .three times. I decided to stop with the overclock process.
I went to the gigabyte site and none of the pgm are specified to work with Win10.
When I selected by mother board and then selected the operating system, Win10, I got three pgms with drivers.
Other Thoughts: Tried to use Acronis 13 to clone the disk and could not under Win10. I keep having to alter the bios to fix the bootup sequence. Still trying.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Speed 2+ Ghz
loaded with ports!!!
wlan and lan
15 inch screen
Windows 7 home premium 64 bit
Other Thoughts: I waited for months to find a laptop that was not expensive but was loaded. Laptop arrived in one day. I prefer to use a usb laptop mouse. I did not use the 60 day Norton/Symantec trial internet security. I purchased the one year / 3 pc version from the Norton web site.READ FULL REVIEW
