Pros: Pretty big screen, low price, I got it on special. Image quality is nice once optimized. Native resolution is easy on the eyes when reading small fonts, unlike my 19" Asus that this replaced.
Cons: Bad factory settings. Out of the box I thought, wow, maybe I don't like this monitor. But then I spent a few days tweaking it, now I think it's impressive enough.
Other Thoughts: Here are my magic final settings for optimum image quality in my somewhat dim room. Brightness--33, Contrast--57, Sharpness--1, Gamma--1, Color Temperature--Reddish. I also had to mess with Windows ClearType a lot to get fonts to appear pleasant and legible. I did a gamma tweak in Windows settings also. Take some time with this and this monitor is perfectly adequate. Video and still images can look stunning on this fairly large screen. It's big, but not "too big."READ FULL REVIEW

Pros: reads CDs fine.....
Cons: does not burn CDs fine... freezes the computer and crashes just about every time, except for the rare instance where you freshly start windows and get lucky to have one burn come out to completion. I tried everything...different burning software, different connections to my motherboard. I pulled out this headache of a drive, finally! and put in a 7 year old Plextor 16x that still works just fine (albeit a little slower)
Other Thoughts: maybe I got a dud? maybe I'll send it back and try another one. but if I ever buy new again you can guess what I'll stay away fromREAD FULL REVIEW
