Pros: Cheaper than an Intell CPU
Other Thoughts: Every newer Intel CPU system I have built has a little 'snap' to it. Every AMD system I have built does not have this. You will DEFINITELY need an aftermarket CPU heatsink/fan to quiet down the NOISE on these. Almost a constant whine. This most recent one had a new closure handle on the side. It was almost impossible to snap shut. Very difficult. Why AMD has done this is beyond me. The same model just before this one had an easy snap handle on the side, no problem. Had to use a flathead screwdrive to press down on the thing while snapping it closed. Very dangerous as a wrong slip & you could badly damage something close by, like your MOBO etc.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Everything. GREAT Heatsinks. EASY install. This G Skill fitst the memory slots perfectly with no forcing like some others.
Cons: Wish for a lower price, sigh.... Newegg had the best deal even after Calif Sales Tax (8.75%).
Other Thoughts: I have 2 Gigabyte systems that I tried Mushkin Memory on. They ended up refunding my money after 4 tries. It took 3 tries with Corsair to get working memory with these. I recently wanted to up my total memory & tried this G Skill. It worked the first time with NO PROBLEMS!!!
Wil be going with G Skill everytime I build someone a computer from now on.
Pros: 1 GB Memory, 128-Bit (instead of just 64), Exhaust hot anir out the back of the case.
Cons: Wish it had a 256-bit interface.
Other Thoughts: Have been running this card 7/24 for several months now. Used the newest drivers from HIS website when I installed it. Windows XP SP3 with all updates. ALSO: A lot of people are going to have problems if they do not have a proper power supply. Mine is a 750w Corsair. You will have nothing but problems & errors with a low quality PSU (even if it says 1,000watts), or a quality PSU under 750Watts.READ FULL REVIEW
