This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper T4 - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Pros: This thing is so quiet, I can not hear it at all. Temps never go over 60c on a 95 watt CPU under full load even during summer where it easily reaches over 38c outside.
I chose this over the T4 because it was on a special deal while the 212 evo was not at the time.
This cooler includes thermal paste, brackets to add a second fan and of course the very sturdy mounting hardware with easy to follow instructions.
Cons: None I can think of
Other Thoughts: Cools down a Core i5 2500 (non k)READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It does push a lot of air compared to the stock Rosewill Challenger fans.
Cons: The LED is meh, when you look at it, it is just 4 curvy lines but the fins are not transparent enough to carry the light throughout the whole fan like the stock rosewill challenger fan.
When you put this in front of a mesh opening as an intake with no space between the fan and the opening, it makes a metric ton of noise. I had to switch the stock rosewill challenger fan with this one for the rear fan because it made too much noise. This fan goes in the front where it has an inch of space between the opening and the fan where it does not make much noise compared to the other configuration. This may be due to the high RPM which is partly my fault for picking a high RPM fan.
Other Thoughts: As an intake rear fan you might wanna get a lower RPM fan because if there is not a lot of space between the fan and the mesh opening, it will make a lot of noise.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I had this for over a year already, this has been used for a gaming rig, then a mining rig then back to a gaming rig. This thing powered 2 HD 6970's which each consume more than 200 watts; 24/7 for about 1 month until I sold my mining rig. There was no power deleivery failure during that time.
Cons: Not modular
Other Thoughts: This PSU now powers:
Core i5 2500
Windforce R9 280x
1 enterprise WD 250gb
1 64gb ADATA ssd
1 xonar dg
4 case fans (3(2 are LED fans) 120mm, 1 140mm)
I would recommend this PSU to anyone, except 600 watt is a bit too much for a single GPU rig.
