This review is from: Rosewill - HDMI Switch box 3-in-1 w/ Remote (RME-002)
Pros: HDMI switch. Handles all my HDMI connections ive tried, including, PS3, Scientific Atlanta Cable box, onboard motherboard HDMI, DVI-HDMI for my other computer.
Cons: Super bright LED lights. My remote only works from less than 1ft away so its basically useless.
Other Thoughts: Wish this was the 5 port versionREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: 27.5 in this thing is big for an office or bedroom!, 3ms refresh rate nice for gaming, HDMI input for 1080p output. Sturdy base/stand which swivels nicely. No dead or stuck pixels.
Everyone that see's it thinks i paid $1000+ for it.
Cons: Backlight bleeding near the top and bottom edges makes it difficult to achieve true black in a dark room(this is the only reason i gave it 4eggs). Only 1 hdmi port. No dvi input, settings and power buttons poorly placed on the back of the monitor.
Other Thoughts: This is a big, monitor that offers super value for the size, unfortunately it sacrifices some quality(bleeding). All in all, if you want a sweet computer monitor, and dont really watch dark movies in a dark room its fantastic! If you want this for multi-tasking buy this.
This monitor looks like it shares a design with a simliar screen. There is a spot on this for IR input, sure be nice if it had a remote so i could turn it off or control the volume!
This review is from: ASUS Digital TV Receiver My Cinema-U3100mini/ATSCQAM USB 2.0 Interface
Pros: Portability, ability to use either antenna or coax cable. Pleasantly suprised with Arcsoft TotalMedia software. Installed and found all my tuners(3) and available channels within 10 minutes. Also software allows PIP which is nice on a football sunday!
Cons: none so far.
Other Thoughts: Possibility to use with linux was what sold me on this (I haven't been able to get this running with Ubuntu 64-bit hardy heron, which is why i purchased this yet though.)
Dual Boot: Windows Vista 32-bit SP1, Linux Ubuntu 64-bit Hardy Heron. Intel core 2 duo e6750 @ 3.2Ghz, Asus p5n-e motherboard, 4 GB Kingston Hyper-X DDR2, XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog extreme edition. 28in Hanns-G LCD 1080p
