Pros: I used this to replace the original DVD-R drive in our new guest PC, a Dell Inspirion 3647 with Windows 7 x64. For some reason this PC will not backup to a USB3 flash drive (128GB) and the DVD-R drive took 3 disks to backup up my image. The C drive was about 30 GB total. I swapped out the DVD-R for this Pioneer BDR-209DBK and it was a perfect fit! I did the full backup to a single, single layer BD-R with such quiet I almost wondered if it was doing anything. There was not a bit of noise what so ever from this drive. I love it! I wished I had bought this for our HP full desktop main PC instead of the HP unit in it now that makes some noise loading and unloading the BD-R. Now obviously if I want or need to take full advantage of this drive’s abilities I will need BD-R burner software like Cyberlink’s Power2go9 for another $50. But for my needs at the moment Windows 7 will format and burn a backup image to BD-R without any problems or extra software.
Cons: Green L.E.D. and not a blue one, but in this particular PC there is a cover lid so I don't see it anyways.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very bright COOL daylight coloured bulb, good 65 watt replacement, dimmable, comparable in size the Aluratek brand which does not off a dimmable cool bulb like this, physical size is about right, no flicker when dimming (when dimmer is calibrated)
Cons: Expensive when not on sale.......almost 1 second turn-on delay, but better that the warm up time of a cold CFL bulb.....
Other Thoughts: I have learned like most people now shopping for these that you can only go by the lumens rating as the watts equivalent most always seems over rated. Also you will need LED /CFL compatible dimmers which may need some minor calibration to reduce any low end dimmer flicker…..READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Aluratek ALB10W 75 Watt Equivalent 75W Equivalent Warm White A19 LED Light Bulb
Pros: It is physically much shorter that the APIDA USA bulbs I bought recently which are better fitting in my kitchen chandelier fixture. Only 10 watts power usage which is a great plus and don't cook you with heat like regular 60 bulbs do. Also got to check out DIMMABILITY, and I can say NOT BAD.......
Cons: The price of course, and there is almost a 1 second delay at power up. Much over rated in equivalency.....it is actually a 60 watt equivalent not a 75 watt, but I knew this going in as I'm replacing 60 watt kitchen bulbs.
Other Thoughts: You have to get an L.E.D. type dimmer and you may have to tweek the trimmer setting on the dimmer but it works great!READ FULL REVIEW
