Pros: High factory overclock
Gorgeous back plate
Silent fans (when they turn on)
Built like a tank
Other Thoughts: Just an incredible effort by evga. For me the price premium was worth the back plate and the higher factory overclock. Idles around 27c in my case and has not gone above 65c playing all sorts of games and benchmarks. Scores 6485 Passmark stock clocked and 6865 with 100mhz GPU and 300mhz memory overclock. Silent as can be.
I am playing videos and games on my 2560x1440 monitor and have had no problems with fps issues of any kind. Could not be happier.

Other Thoughts: Purchased this off of another site a few weeks ago. Just wanted to correct the last reviewer and help others who may want to get this monitor. THIS MONITOR WILL RUN AT 2560 X 1440 USING HDMI. You must have a fairly recent Graphics Card ( mine Nvidia GTX 750ti and works perfectly at 1440p using just HDMI) to run full 1440p using HDMI. Your graphics card simply needs to be hdmi v2.0 capable.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: My Passmark 3d score 5013. That is GTX 760 territory.
Cooler is incredibly quiet and keeps card cool.
Fabulous backplate. Card well made and sturdy.
Have not seen card go over 60c yet.
Zero coil whine playing games or at desktop.
Cons: None so far after about two weeks.
Other Thoughts: I realize this is a beefed up 7870 but it is still way better than what I had previously. I had two fanless 7750 Sapphire Ultimate's in crossfire because I do not like extra fan noise. While the performance was good with these cards crossfired (and silent) I did not like some of the quirks of xfire when playing some games. Was looking for a fast and low noise single card to replace what I had and this was exactly what I was looking for.
I am just amazed at how quiet and cool this card is as I cannot hear it in my case at all. Am running hdmi to a 40" Sony 1080p tv/monitor and everyhing I have runs smoothly.
