Pros: I've put THOUSANDS of hours of gaming on this mouse. Millions of clicks I'm sure! The primary mouse button finally seems to be failing. However I only notice it in one game so far. The 4 buttons by the fingers allow for SUPER FAST reactions with minimal finger movement!. I typically have them set up as my 1,2,3,4 buttons so I can switch weapons, spell, skills etc in an instant!!
Cons: OUT OF STOCK!!!! :( I wish it was about a quarter to a half inch wider. Other mice don't have this button configuration!
Other Thoughts: I actually own the G300, rather than the "S" series. It had a silver top, I've managed wear down through the coating. I've also worn the rubber side down to the plastic, trust me it's surprisingly thick. I can't tell you how hard it is to find another mouse with the 4 buttons next to the fingers!!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Great price for a budget 970 gaming board. No serious issues with installation.
Cons: Top right corner screw hole was not drilled out. Surprising since that's where you put all the pressure on the board while installing the power cord and RAM. -1 to quality control for that one.
I have ZERO control over CPU fan speed. In the BIOS, in Windows, nothing will change the speed from 1800 RPM. "Normal" and "Silent" are the options. My older, 785 biostar at least would run a test on the CPU fan and let you adjust. Pretty sad a MUCH NEWER board cant do that.
Last but not least. Annoying. I have the Crucial ballistix tracer memory sticks with programmable LED lights on top. Depending on how hard the computer works, the lights will flash faster or slower. Really handy when diagnosing a hang up. Anyway, when clocking my memory from 1333 to the 1600 that its supposed to be, I lost my LED lights in RAM slot 0. Switching the RAM sticks verified its only the first slot. Turning the speed back down to 1333 allows the lights to work again. Tried turning up voltage from 1.5 to 1.65 (which is what the old tracers used to run) also did nothing.
Have to say I'm really bummed out over it. Ive been using these memory modules for a couple years now and absolutely love them! Without the activity LEDs it loses all its awesomeness. :(
Other Thoughts: I got this board on sale, knowing they will soon be extinct with the release of USB 3.1 and DDR4. The cons don't seem to be enough for me to want to RMA the board, but just once, I'd like to get a MOBO that works 100% as advertised. Ill probably be installing a fan speed controller (there goes the 15 bux i saved) and will just have to decide between LEDs or performance on my memory. :( :(READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Modular cables. Braided sleeves over wiring gives it that "high quality" feel and look that everyone appreciates. The cables are designed in a way that you can't screw things up by plugging into the wrong slot.
Cons: The big plastic tie that comes with it broke when I tried to reuse it. No biggie. I did not come with any velcro ties, which I prefer.
Other Thoughts: The cables are mighty long, but I was using a mid tower. The light appears blue, but it's white.READ FULL REVIEW
