Pros: Absolutely none.
Cons: After owning it for 12 weeks, only 10 of which it has been in use, the cheap fan on it started making a terrible noise. The noise was very similar to an old hard drive tick, but very constant and fast. Terribly annoying. After investigation, I learned it was the fan on this new video card.
This is in an HTPC and the noise is so loud that it completely destroys the experience, not to mention is annoying all day, as it never stops making the noise. Time to replace it already.
Other Thoughts: I wish I could append to my original review of this terrible product, but I cannot seem to. So here is another word of warning to potential consumers!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It had a rebate with it, which made the price for such a cheaply made card reasonable.
Cons: They claim you didn't send in the proper forms, and deny you the rebate. Happened to me and a friend, and they were most certainly sent properly, and timely.
The chincy fan on the card is the obvious weak point. Doesn't look terrible in pictures. In person it is scary cheap.
Other Thoughts: Don't get suckered by a rebate that they won't honor.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill RCW-608 - USB 2.0 Adapter for IDE / SATA Device, Protective Case Included
Pros: Works fantastic, small size, few cables, fast transfer speeds, has worked with every drive I've tried it on so far. No problems using on Linux, WinXP, Vista, or 7 machines (didn't test with any Macs).
Cons: None, except that I had to buy a replacement since the first one I had was stolen, and a new car window... *sigh*READ FULL REVIEW
