MicroLux ML450SL 26-lb Portable Automatic Ice Cube Maker
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Makes ices fast. Fifteen minutes after plugging in, some ice already made.

Cons: Motor that pushes ice out of device failed after 2 months. Ice still makes, but won't come out without manually helping the motor.

Other Thoughts: Find youtube video where people have made mini freezers into huge ice chests. Usually done by avid fishermen as a garage project.

5 out of 5 eggs Eeek - Its a mouse! 01/04/2014

This review is from: Rosewill RM-P2U Mouse - 3 Buttons, 1 x Wheel, USB Wired, Optical, 800 dpi

Pros: Works on most any surface. 800 dpi is plenty of resolution/control. Fits nice in my hand.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It's a mouse, it either works or it doesn't. I got two, they both work just fine.

Mushkin Enhanced Callisto Deluxe MKNSSDCL120GB-DX 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Fast fast boot ups. Old HP laptop had a lot of software and background processes running (for work) so it was crawling, crashing and I was cursing.

Imaged old hard drive to new using Linux boot disk and dongle.

Handles everything I throw at it. No more lock ups and no more BSOD.

Cons: Could be cheaper. I paid $104.99 in Nov 2013.

Other Thoughts: This SSD is SATA2.

The SATA3 disks are cheaper and are backward compatible. BUT, after reading many reviews, it seems that when a SATA3 SSD is plugged into a SATA2 bus, there must be some overhead for the backward compatiblity.

It SEEMS that a SATA3 SSD plugged into an SATA2 bus is slightly slower than a SATA2 SSD plugged into an SATA2 bus.

So after reading many reviews, I opted for the same SDD/bus SATA2 level. Your mileage may vary.
